It’s been a little while since I shared some recent work on the blog! Recently, a good friend of mine from college approached me about creating custom illustrated thank you cards for her wedding festivities! She, as well as her future husband, are architects so they have a keen eye for design. She wanted to create something personal that uniquely portrays their relationship. Inspired by the photography series β€œ

things organized neatly

,” we created a set of illustrated icons that reflect their personalities. Shoes, passports for traveling, french press, etc.

Truly, I wish I thought of this idea for my wedding! Such a fun way to bring personality to the stationery, that friends + family will immediately recognize as uniquely Reid and Carolyn. I had such a fun time working on this project, and of course collaborating with a good friend! She has such a tailored eye for design, so we were on the same page for illustration style, color palette and everything in between.

At some point, the stationery will transition to the wedding reception. We are still working on the details, but I know this will add another creative element to their special day!
